研究要旨
長崎県五島列島からは，これまでに80 種あまりの陸生異翅半翅類昆虫（カメムシ類）が報告されているものの，一括りに「五島」あるいは「五島列島」と記された文献がほとんどで，実際は，本土と往来しやすい福江島あるいは中通島由来である場合が多い（安永ら1989；日本昆虫学会2016；土井ら2023）。この2 島以外の島嶼が産地として明示された例は，ほぼ皆無といってよい。
今回，筆者らは「長崎科学プロジェクト・長崎サイエンスキャンプ（SSH 重点枠広域連携事業，科学技術振興機構支援）」の一環として，五島列島最北に位置する宇久島（佐世保市）において，カメムシ類を調査する機会を得た（2025 年8 月28–30 日）。いくつかのプログラムを実施する中，限られた時間内の調査であったが，18 種の陸棲カメムシ類を採集（一部の普通種は目視確認）できた。すべての種が，宇久島からは（文献上の）新記録となるが，多くは五島列島（福江島あるいは中通島）から既に報告例のある普通種である。一方，少数ながら分布記録として注目すべき発見もあり，本文ではこれら興味深い種について詳述する。

Title
New records of the terrestrial heteropterans from Uku Island of the Goto Isls., Nagasaki Pref., Japan (Insecta: Heteroptera)
Abstract
The present report provides new distributional records of the terrestrial heteropteran species from Uku Island of the Goto Islands, Sasebo City, Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan. Prior to our work, almost nothing has been documented on the heteropteran fauna of Uku Island. Eighteen species (most of them are common and widespread in SW Japan) are herein reported for the first time from the island. On the other hand, findings of Peltidolygus scutellatus (Yasunaga & Lu), Neortholomus scolopax (Say) and Cantao ocellatus (Thunberg) from such small, isolated island are considered biogeographically noteworthy.
